I was standing on the edge of the track towards the end of devil's playground when he came by. The sights and sounds of this thing coming straight at you as it pops up over the crest, getting a bit squirrely, correcting and then going wot and grabbing another gear as it passes a few feet in front of you was one of the sickest things I've ever experienced. The backfire from the exhaust during the shift about made my head explode. All the blood in my body went to my genitalia.

Wow, looks like weather was beautiful on race day.

Time attack has got to be one of my favorite racing disciplines. Whether on a track or in hillclimb form it's just so satisfying for some reason, the pursuit of pure speed over a single run.
